Expired Codes
Codes are case-sensitive and can only be redeemed once per account. If a code says invalid or expired, it has already been removed from the active list.
A simple route from your first summon to clearing harder modes.
Anime Universe Tower Defense combines unit summoning, wave defense, character upgrades, evolution, Etherealization, traits, relics, and several repeatable game modes. Beginners progress fastest by building one reliable team and concentrating resources on its main damage dealer.
Redeem the Current Codes
Open Codes from the menu on the right side of the screen and redeem every active code. The rewards provide free units, Gems, Universal Gems, Trait Rerolls, evolution materials, and Etherealization Shards.
You begin with enough resources and units to avoid relying only on the starter summon.
Inspect and Equip Your Free Units
Open your unit inventory and review Fern, Grimmjow, Berserker, Kenpachi Evo, and any summoned characters. Equip a mixture of early damage, sustained damage, and support instead of filling every slot with the same role.
Your first loadout can handle different enemy types and longer waves.
Use Gems on Your First Summons
Visit the summoning area and use regular Gems to expand your roster. Save rare reroll and evolution resources until you obtain a unit that will remain useful beyond the first Story stages.
You gain more team options without wasting valuable endgame materials.
Clear Story Stages in Order
Enter the earliest available Story stage and place your first unit near a long section of the enemy path. Add another damage unit only when the first one cannot handle the next waves.
Story progression unlocks additional farming opportunities and harder content.
Upgrade One Main Carry First
Concentrate your starting money on one dependable damage dealer before spreading upgrades across the entire team. Add support, crowd control, hill, or hybrid coverage when the stage requires it.
Focused upgrades produce more damage during the waves where enemy health rises quickly.
Level, Etherealize, and Evolve Core Units
Return to the lobby after farming materials and improve the units you use most. Leveling raises their basic strength, Etherealization provides additional progression, and evolution unlocks stronger forms for supported characters.
A small upgraded roster becomes more valuable than a large collection of undeveloped units.
Build Teams for Advanced Modes
After establishing a Story team, create separate loadouts for Infinite, Raids, Challenges, events, Virtual Realm, and boss-focused stages. Include economy and support units whenever a mode gives you enough time to benefit from them.
Mode-specific teams improve farming speed and late-wave consistency.
The strongest Update 4 damage dealers, endgame carries, support units, and practical alternatives.
This tier list prioritizes total combat value rather than damage alone. Placement type, elemental coverage, team buffs, crowd control, boss performance, upgrade scaling, evolution, traits, relics, and Etherealization all affect how well a unit performs in difficult content.

Double Traits and Stat Rerolls
Separate systems- A unit can hold two different traits
- The same trait cannot occupy both slots
- Stat Locks preserve selected stat grades
- Auto-skip protects selected combinations
Best for: Secret, Universal, Unrivaled, Boundless, and limited units
Rolling without skip filters or Stat Locks can remove valuable results.
Priority: Finish the main trait first, lock strong stat grades, then reroll the remaining weak stats.
Plan takedowns, fragments, unique drops, and Etherealization resources before upgrading.
Evolution transforms eligible units into stronger forms and can unlock new attacks, passives, or additional evolution stages. Etherealization is a separate E1-to-E6 progression system that uses duplicate-unit resources or rarity-matched Etherealization Shards.
